RookTook was born out of a simple observation: while chess is one of the oldest and most respected games in the world, modern platforms often feel intimidating to amateur players.
Founded in 2023 by a team of chess enthusiasts and tech innovators from across India, we set out to create a platform that combines competitive gameplay with a supportive community that helps players improve.
What started as a small project has quickly grown into a thriving ecosystem with thousands of players from every corner of India.
Today, we're working toward our vision of becoming India's #1 chess platform and eventually competing on the global stage.
